We welcome you to maternity training for mother and baby in a group

Postpartum training is a combined strength and relaxation class for those who have given birth and want to get started with physical activity in a safe and adapted way. The class is led by an instructor who provides close follow-up and individual adaptation based on your needs and conditions.

The focus is on activating and strengthening deep abdominal and pelvic muscles, as well as building stability in the hips and core. The goal is to prepare the body for everyday activities and further training after birth. We work with functional strength exercises for the large muscle groups.

The class ends with gentle relaxation and stretching, which provides space for rest, presence, and new energy.

Who is the course suitable for?

  • Suitable for those who have recently become mothers and want to train in a small group.
  • It has been 6-8 weeks since birth (at least 8 weeks in case of caesarean section).
  • The child is from 6-8 weeks and up to 9-10 months.

We make arrangements to make it possible to breastfeed/feed the child, change a diaper, or do anything else you or the child may need during the class.

You and the baby are welcome to swim/bath before or after the lesson.

Regine Bjarnoll

Regine Bjarnoll er utdannet fysioterapeut ved University College Syddanmark avd. Esbjerg, i tillegg har hun fullført medisin grunnfag ved AMH, årsenhet i ernæring 2 ved Høyskolen Kristiania og Certificate in Neurosience and Training ved Barca Innovation Hub. Hun arbeider til daglig som privat fysioterapeut i egen klinikk på Midtun, hvor hun jobber med barn, unge, voksne og eldre i ulike livssituasjoner. Regine har flere års erfaring fra treningsbransjen og hjelper til daglig mennesker til å bli mer aktiv i hverdagen, enten gjennom gruppetrening, individuell oppfølging eller i bedrift. Hun er opptatt av folkehelse og ønsker å bidra til at folk flest blir mer aktiv i hverdagen, og tror på at fysisk aktivitet er for alle uavhengig av fysiske, mentale og sosiale forutsetninger.

Marie Tilseth Sæterås

Marie er fysioterapistudent og sertifisert yogalærer i Rishikesh, India. Hun har erfaring som instruktør i ulike treningsformer, og er opptatt av å skape et trygt rom hvor du både kan utfordre deg selv og finne ro. For henne handler trening om balanse. Hun underviser Hatha yoga og barseltrening
