Yoga provides holistic health benefits for expectant mothers

Pregnancy Yoga is a calm and gentle yoga class adapted for pregnant women, with a focus on breathing, mobility and relaxation. The class combines soft movements and simple strength exercises that support the body throughout pregnancy, and helps you become more aware of your body and breath.

The exercises can contribute to increased well-being, reduced tension and greater peace of mind and body, and are suitable for all levels – regardless of experience with yoga.

Yoga for pregnant women can help to:

  • Improve sleep
  • Reduce stress and anxiety
  • Increase the strength, flexibility, and endurance of the muscles needed for childbirth
  • Reduce lower back pain, nausea, headaches and shortness of breath.
