Membership terms for AdO arena
1- AdO arena's main product is ongoing subscription membership or single tickets to our facilities, with or without a binding period.
2- Membership runs from the day it is purchased and its associated duration. For annual membership with binding, the recommended price is NOK 540,- per month (ordinary membership for adults) and 340,- per month (corporate membership, valid Mon-Fri).
The subscription continues to run until it is canceled.
Parents must be the payer for children/youth under 18 years.
Terms for corporate membership
3- The commitment period can be broken under special circumstances such as illness and relocation. Documentation must be provided.
4- When canceling a membership, the notice period is 1 month (paying), the membership will expire the following month after cancellation. The notice period can be waived for documented reasons such as illness and moving.
5- AdO arena has its own set of safety rules. The rules can be found at www.adoarena.no. You must be 12 years old and able to swim to swim alone in our facilities. Children under 12 years old must swim with an adult over 18 years old who is able to swim, and an adult can be responsible for a maximum of three children under 12 years old.
5- As a guest, you must always have your personal access wristband with you when visiting AdO arena or Nordnes sjøbad. The wristband is an identifier that gives you access and a key to lock and open lockers in the changing room. Access wristbands are issued on the first day at the reception at AdO arena.
6-Year and half-year passes include access to AdO arena, Nordnes sjøbad* and specific times in the district swimming pools of Bergen Municipality. For more information, see www.adoarena.no.

7- If a member loses or damages a membership band, this must be reported immediately to AdO arena on “My page”, and we will issue a new card. A fee of NOK 100,- will be deducted from the payment card provided or paid on site when picking up a new one. The band can be picked up at the specified location, an SMS with a more detailed description will be sent when the band is produced.
7.1- Membership at AdO arena is personal and access bands shall not be given/borrowed to others. Membership may be terminated without further notice after such an event, and paid entry and training fees will not be refunded.
8- As a member of AdO arena, you manage your own membership on my page. This means that you must log in to my page if you wish to change personal information, primary center, payment card, enter a freeze period, end your membership, etc. All inquiries (e.g. cancellation, freeze, payment) regarding your membership must be sent in writing via "my page" or by email. Cancellation by letter is not valid.
When freezing your membership or ending your membership, you will receive a receipt by email with confirmation of your request.
9- When terminating membership, the notice period is 1 month (paying), the membership will expire the following month after termination. The notice period can be removed for documented reasons such as illness and moving. Termination must be sent in writing via "minside" or via email to ado@adoarena.no.
10- Freezing of membership with or without a commitment occurs for a minimum of 1 month or more (maximum 6 months). If you are a member of a center where the membership capacity is fully utilized, you can freeze a maximum of 1 month at a time. Freezing of membership must be registered before the desired freezing period starts. AdO arena does not freeze back in time.

11- You are responsible for keeping your membership information up to date at all times. You have access to change it on my page. AdO arena disclaims responsibility for errors in the information you have registered.
12- All inquiries regarding your membership should be directed to support on Mypage, which you have access to as a member.
13- As a member of AdO arena, you accept that your payment card will be charged with the agreed training fee each month.
You are responsible for having correct payment information at all times, for example ensuring that the payment card is valid. You can change your payment information on my page.
14- AdO arena sends out reminders via email and SMS for unpaid membership fees, as well as notice of automatic cancellation if payment is not made. After repeated notifications, outstanding amounts will be sent to debt collection. Receipt for paid membership fees is available on my page under "Payments".
As a customer at AdO arena, you have a full right to cancel your order online for up to 14 days.
If you have purchased a service from AdO arena through distance selling, including telephone sales or online shopping or outside of a fixed business premises, and still do not want it, you have the right to cancel for 14 days after AdO arena has fulfilled its obligation to provide information in accordance with the Right of Cancellation Act.

15- AdO arena follows price adjustments according to decisions made by the City Council of Bergen Municipality. Annual price adjustments from 01.01., also apply to membership with and without commitment.
Other price changes require 30 days' notice by e-mail and/or SMS.
16- AdO arena and its associated swimming and diving facilities shall at all times maintain high quality, so that you as a member can visit us under the best conditions. In order to be able to carry out necessary maintenance, AdO arena reserves the right to close the facilities when necessary. The offer will, as far as possible, be maintained in part by keeping the pools open as much as possible.
17- AdO arena has the right to change the membership terms and conditions. If the changes are of a certain importance to the member, or to the member's disadvantage, AdO arena shall notify the members before the changes come into effect.
18- AdO arena and associated swimming and diving facilities have annual events set by Bergen Municipality, the Sports Association and NSF, during these events AdO arena reserves the right to be partially or completely closed. Notice of closure will be posted online, on social media, on visible facilities and by email/text if necessary. Membership is not compensated for the period AdO is closed due to events.
19- As a member of AdO arena, you confirm that you do not use stimulants or doping that are listed by Antidoping Norway, and you confirm that you will voluntarily submit to a doping test. In the event of a positive doping test, your membership will cease with immediate effect.
20- AdO arena wants a healthy training environment and does not tolerate the use of doping agents among customers. All members of AdO arena must distance themselves from the use of doping agents. The use of doping agents constitutes a material breach of the training agreement and gives AdO arena the right to terminate the agreement with immediate effect.
If AdO arena registers signs or symptoms of doping, you will be called for an interview. During the interview, you will be presented with an agreement/declaration regarding doping control that obligates you to later submit a doping test while you are at AdO arena. If there are still signs of possible doping, a new test will be arranged.
If you do not sign the declaration, it is considered a material breach of the membership terms and conditions, and it gives AdO arena the right to terminate the membership agreement.
21- If you test positive for a doping test, you risk being reported to the police and your membership agreement will be terminated immediately without any claim for a refund.
As a member, you are required to familiarize yourself with the posted safety regulations in the AdO arena and associated swimming and diving facilities. Follow the instructions of the staff if an incident should occur.
