Terms of purchase for Skuret Sauna at Sandviken Sjøbad, Elsesro

1. General

These terms and conditions apply when booking and using Skuret Sauna at Sandviken Sjøbad, which is operated by AdO arena.

By completing a booking, the customer confirms that these terms and conditions have been read and accepted.

Use of the sauna is at your own risk, and all guests undertake to follow applicable safety and well-being rules (see booking page).

2. Booking

Sauna can be booked in the following ways:

Private booking

When booking privately, the customer has the entire sauna at their disposal during the reserved time period.

The person making the booking must be 18 years of age or older and is responsible for ensuring that all participants comply with the applicable rules and conditions.

Communal sauna

In a shared sauna, the customer purchases access to one or more spaces at a time that is shared with other guests.

The space is personal and cannot be used by others without an agreement with Sandviken Sjøbad.

3. Prices and payment

All prices are stated in Norwegian kroner (NOK) and include VAT where required.

Booking must be paid for at the time of booking. The reservation is not valid until payment has been registered and booking confirmation has been received.

4. Cancellation and refund

Private booking

Cancellations made no later than 48 hours before the start of the course will result in a full refund.
Cancellations between 24 and 48 hours before start time will receive a 50% refund.
If canceled less than 24 hours before the start, no refund will be given.
Change of time may be offered if capacity allows, but cannot be guaranteed.

Communal sauna

Cancellation no later than 24 hours before start gives a full refund.
In case of cancellation less than 24 hours before the start, no refund will be given.

Failure to attend does not entitle you to a refund.

5. Cancellation from Sandviken Sjøbad

Sandviken Sjøbad may cancel or close the sauna if this is necessary for reasons of:

Guest safety
Weather and sea conditions
Technical problems
Maintenance
Orders from public authorities
Other matters beyond our control

In the event of cancellation on our part, the customer will either be offered a new date or a full refund of the amount paid.

6. Use of sauna

To ensure a pleasant experience for all guests, it is expected that the sauna is used with respect for both the facility and other visitors. Guests are required to follow our safety and well-being rules and instructions given by staff.

Sandviken Sjøbad reserves the right to expel persons who violate the terms and conditions or act in a manner that compromises safety and well-being. In the event of expulsion, no refund will be given.

For private and shared bookings, the maximum number of people the sauna is approved for applies. Exceeding the capacity is not permitted.

9. Personal belongings

Storage of personal belongings is at your own risk.

Sandviken Sjøbad is not responsible for lost, forgotten or stolen property. In case of forgotten belongings, you are welcome to contact us at kurs@adoarena.no.

10. Damages and liability

The person making the booking may be held financially liable for damages resulting from negligent or intentional acts committed by the person making the booking or by persons participating in the booking.

11. Privacy

Personal data is processed in accordance with applicable data protection legislation and is only used for booking administration, customer service and other statutory purposes.
