Ado arena is the main facility for swimming and diving in Norway.
Here we have 5 pools, 2 slides and a yoga room.
Every year we have 365,000 visitors, everything from sports, school students, companies, the public and course participants .
Here is some practical information that is useful to know before starting the course:
On the first day of the course, we recommend that you turn up well before the start of the course as you will need to be registered at reception.
REMEMBER the order number you received in the confirmation e-mail when registering.
Registration also applies if you have an annual or half-yearly card. You will use your band throughout the course period and therefore the membership must be valid as long as the course you are enrolled in is ongoing.
You meet at the edge of the pool at the start.
Learn to swim meet inside the training pool.
Crawl course, Training group and Swimming course during daytime meet inside the main pool (by the slides) where the instructor(s) will meet you.
There is no requirement to have your own equipment (swimming goggles, swimming cap, flippers, etc.). The instructors have various equipment, e.g. swimming feet, which can be borrowed if needed. If you have your own, you are welcome to bring this with you if desired. If desired, e.g. swimming goggles or other, can be bought from our shop outside reception.
You are welcome to swim/swim before and after the course (as long as AdO is open for normal operation), except for the course that starts at 21:00 in the evening (Crawl - a bit practiced and The training group). AdO closes at 21:00 for the public and therefore the pool cannot be used after class, but you are welcome to swim before the start of the course. We recommend that you also bring a drinking bottle.
If you have any special challenges in terms of health (e.g. epilepsy, heart defects, diabetes) it is important to inform the instructor(s) about this.

The discount does not apply to food and drink, or already reduced items. It applies to everyone who is on courses.
... we have an agreement with Bergen Parking dept. ByGarasjen?
By park there, you can register car number on an iPad at reception and get - 40% on the parking lot. Must be registered every time you visit us.
